I went for my scan today and the lady told me she was fairly certain it was a boy and on my notes it said it's not 100% accurate? Do they have to say this to everyone just in case it's not or could it change? 🤔

Answer

Unless your scan took place before 15 weeks, they're usually pretty correct. It's NEVER 100% accurate. My ultrasounds at 18-20 weeks have never been wrong. We have 7 kids. Before 15 weeks, depending on development, the boys and girls still look similar so it's a toss up.
