Must have baby items?

We have started to buy things for our baby, we have the obvious car seat, crib, bottles, and blankets. What is something you have bought that really came in handy??

Nail Clippers
Thermometer 
Diaper Rash Cream 
I did not use the crib until my daughter was 10 months, breastfeeding is time consuming so I LOVED my co-sleeper! She then transferred to the pack n play and then her crib.
Baby tub- I found the more simple the better
Little wash cloths/hooded towels
A simple bouncy chair that is easily portable, great for moving from room to room!

This thing!!  Boppy Lounger.  Life saver and easy to move around. I buy it for all expecting moms even though they haven't registered for it.. I've always been told it's one of their most used items.  A must!

We had #1 last year and there are only a few bits I'd consider essentials that we'll use again this time. Swinging chair (Sons 11months and still has naps in it). Reclining highchair. Jumperoo. V-shaped pillow, standard not maternity (used when pregnant, nursing, baby napping, assisting sitting up and feeding) Travel cot (used as playpen)

I'm on my third baby, and with my first two, the two items they both loved that I would recommend are a bouncer and a jumparoo! I put them both in the bouncer when I needed to shower and my husband was at work. They always fell asleep with the vibrations going. You can easily move them around the house. And then when they're older, the jumparoos are very entertaining and before they're sitting up on their own they can see so much more!
