Any success stories for those without a period?!

I've always been irregular. And when I say irregular I mean really irregular! Going a year without one before, sometimes go 3 months, or 6 months at a time. Few periods a year. Anyone have this and was able to get pregnant? What fertility meds were used? My first appointment with the fertility specialist is in 3 weeks!

I used to go 6 months easily without a period. After 2 years of trying we were referred to the fertility clinic where I was diagnosed with pcos. Was advised to lower my bmi from 34 down to 30 and then they would start me clomid. As soon as my bmi got down to 30 I fell pregnant naturally and I am now almost 36 weeks pregnant 😊

Not a pregnancy success story but some helpful info. I too am irregular and just had an ultrasound on my ovaries which confirmed PCOS. Next steps are HSG test to make sure tubes aren't blocked and then Clomid which makes you ovulate. Having an irregular cycle usually means annovulation. Not impossible to get pregnant, just takes more strategy. Good luck to when you go to the specialist!
