Contractions?

Please describe how they feel and the difference between them and regular pains, I’m 31 weeks almost 32 and having a lot of lower back pain and cramping today but don’t know if it’s just regular pregnancy pains or contractions?  This is my first!

Contractions feel kinda like you are being squeezed completely around the midsection (sometimes felt more in the back).  If they are just uncomfortable and not overly painful they are typically Braxton Hicks or you are like me and have a super high pain tolerance.  If they kinda take your breath away they are typically the real deal.

I had a Braxton hicks and it felt like a Charlie horse across my stomach that went away with water and laying on my left. Contractions felt like period cramping that steadily got closer and stronger

Braxton hicks is your whole stomach going hard and takes your breath away.
Contractions feel like someone is taking your intestines and twisting them. Like extreme gas/diarrhea cramps.
