Is a Rocker/Glider a 'must have'?

IMO a good Chair you could fall asleep while feeding is a must. We got an oversized recliner. It rocks and reclines. The arms are huge so we didn't need a boppy or any other pillows and I fall asleep it in at least once a week. we keep it right in the baby's room so I feed him and put him down at night. The rocker/gliders I tried were very uncomfortable.

I got one for my nursery because I don't want to wake my husband every time
The baby is fussy and I don't want to go downstairs to the living room either. My baby isn't here yet so I'm not exactly sure if it was a good investment or not.

My son is 14 months. He's been in his own room since 6weeks. I use my glider and ottoman multiple times a day for long periods. When he was a baby I would fall sleep rocking him. For me a glider was a must have and will be a must have if I have more children.

I work at a daycare and most of the babies LOVE to be rocked to sleep. So of course I got one! And if I'm gonna be getting up in the middle of the night to feed, I want to be able to sit comfortably when I'm still tired lol.

So I said yes before I saw the picture. My chair rocks but is a recliner. It's a perfect fit for me too. We plan on using it in another room once baby is done breastfeeding.

I wanted one so badly when I was pregnant, and then my husband found a lazyboy recliner for $30 . I was so against it because it was ugly brown! It also didn't fit my image of  a perfect nursery. Once I had my son oh man can I tell you I was thankful he talked me into it. so comfy I didn't need extra pillows and it reclined and I could sleep in it and with a premie who had to eat every hour it was a life saver. Also I tried out my sister's glider a few months later and was surprised by how uncomfortable it was, the arms were so skinny that I couldn't use it without a pillow or two. I am so grateful to this day my husband convinced me.
