period question

I'm confused about something. I know you don't start the 1st day of your period if it starts before noon if that day. I started spotting on Saturday after 1pm. I spotted from that point on for the rest of the night. Then Sunday morning the flow was medium and yesterday too. Well today I'm spotting if you even can call it that. The only time I have seen blood is when I wipe and it is really, really lite, like barely there. My periods usually last 4-5 day medium to heavy days 2-4. Had sore boobs, nausea, fatigue and some other symptoms before period. What do y'all think.?
