Do you ever forget you're pregnant? For example, this is my first pregnancy, almost 18 weeks, and find out the gender Monday (😬🙌🏼). I'm not very big/showing much (yet), and have only felt quick "bursts" of the baby moving. And then, I see my 12 week scan pictures. This tiny little person's hand, fingers, nose; wondering if their profile is more like mom or dad. This tiny little being that my body is working on 24/7. This tiny little baby that is going to one day grow up and experience wonderful triumphs, and heart wrenching sorrows. I wish more than anything that I could protect him/her from all the bad, negative, and horrible things that are going on in the world, and the hard times they will endure. But I know that's a critical part in shaping them into the person they'll be. Until then, I can't wait to hold and love you little peanut. 💗💙
