I need help convincing him!

My bf and I have decided we are ready to have sex, geez I feel like a teenager all over again. I need help convincing him that I'd rather use fertility awareness methods (FAM) to prevent pregnancy and where would rather me just take a pill. I've been the pill route and I'd rather not take it again, I'm not 100% opposed but I strongly don't want to. I need help convincing him that both methods are just as effective at preventing pregnancy. Yes I know, there is a fertile window and I would use basal temp, calendar charting AND CM to help me ensure accuracy of knowing when I'm ovulating, PLUS he will be wearing condoms. His argument is that he doesn't want to worry about what day it is and if I'd be ovulating, he just wants to ravage me. My argument is, he'll be wearing a condom regardless! ugh, help, please!
