Baby name similar to fathers?

Ok so I'm not very far along but still obviously very excited! I've been thinking of names, haven't discussed them with my bf yet but I was just wondering what others think... So my guy's name is Brandon. When we were coming up with names for our daughter (before we knew she was a she) we both liked the name Braxton. He said it would be kind of weird because it's basically his name with a couple letters changed. I've decided recently that I also like the name Landon. So, hitting kind of the same issue. Just wondering what you guys think? I know it's our decision in the end but just thought I would get opinions, are those names too close to his name? Which do you like better? Or not at all? TIA! :) Obviously we have no clue if it's a boy or girl yet but girl names I'm not having any issues coming up with this time.
