When has your little one gotten a sunburn?                                                   

My family and I went on a little adventure with my 4 month old (19 weeks) to see the fall colors. We went on a short hike in the shade, had a picnic and then a trian ride. Since we were in the mounatins with temps in the 50-70s, I was more worried about layers than the sun, but put a little sunscreen on her face. At lunch, I noticed her cheecks getting rosy so I figured she was getting hot (wearing long sleeves, pants, socks & beanie hat). I took of the beanie, pants and socks and we continued. While on the train we took a picture and I noticed shef was looking more like she was getting a sunburn. So on the way home I put a cold compress on her cheecks. Once home we had more cold water, some Tylenol, and a milk bath (with saved old breastmilk). 

I feel absolutely awful and like the WORSE mom in the world! I'm going to see how it looks in the morning but will probably call the dr. I'm looking for advice on what else I could do to help my sweet baby?
