Genetic testing?

I'm getting the genetic testing in a week and half. I'll be 12+3 days and I was wondering do they automatically test for gender or is that a different test?

It depends on the company that dos the test. I had Panorama done and it was automatic. They basically test the chromosomes in the fetal cells that are in the mother's blood. Obviously if the 'y' is present, you're carrying a boy.

We asked if it was included and then they made sure to check the box
I'd ask just in case

You can add it to the test it's not usually automatically included they should ask you about it.

With mine you had to tell them you want to know the gender
