Pump or latch?

Question

Which one do you guys prefer? I want to do both but I wanted some input on both. I want to bottle feed with my breast milk but also latch my baby as well. I should I pump right after I get out of the hospital or latch for a while then bottle feed? I'm completely new to this so I'm trying to get as much info as I can of stuff lol.

I plan to exclusively breastfeed for a while before introducing a bottle.

I would start with breastfeeding. Once you know the baby is getting enough and latching properly then introduce the bottle. 
I read that your production is better when breast feeding. So you should get that going before you start pumping.

I plan to do both as well. I will breastfeed through the day but also pump some so if it's late my husband can help with midnight feedings and when I want to have my mom babysit they can feed too. I love the idea and the benefits of breastfeeding but I want my husband to experience it.
