Can a Halloween Party Be Fun Without Booze?

So basically I want to throw a Halloween party. I'm going to have a costume contest with prizes, apple bobbing, pin the head on the skeleton, scary music, fun games, party favors and for those without a costume in going to have funny hats. I planned on making punch with dry ice in a cauldron and a bunch of other non-alcoholic sangrias and then of course soda and water but all my friends seemed really bummed when I said no alcohol. I know I'm an adult and that's what most adults do at parties but I just don't want drinking in my home. When my friends and family think halloween party they think smutty costumes booze sex and loud music and that just doesn't sound fun to me. I want to have real fun at a real party for once where people can remember what they did and drive home safe and I don't have to burn my sheets to get rid of bodily fluids from wild sex. My friends say all my party plans are childish and only elementary schoolers do it and that it just sounds boring. I think its be fun if they give it a try. I'm worried if I don't supply booze that they'll all think its boring or no one will show up to begin with and if they do they wont show up to another one of parties because in the stuff. What do you think? There will be kids there too and I don't think its appropriate (teenagers) to do this in front of them. Would you go to my party? Does it sound fun? Will my friends like it? Is it lame? An I lame? Should I just throw my usual yearly rager? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks. 🎃❤
