Baby and Puppy?

Considering getting a family pet but I'm scared what if the dog doesn't do well with the baby. What kind of dog would you recommend ?

I recommend getting a young puppy because they can grow up around the child and be taught how to act. Breed doesn't matter, just train him/her well.

Have you had a dog before? I'd suggest getting a puppy and getting it in obedience classes right away. An breed can good with training (in home and in class). I worked at a doggy day care/ training facility and puppies learn so fast and tons of our clients were either expecting or already had little ones. You just have to find a good trainer, but definitely don't get a dog if you're not going to train it cuz that's just asking for a disaster and not a safe environment for a baby.

We adopted our dog and she is so gentle and kind with our daughter. We didn't want an older dog at first but so glad we decided to adopt one. Our daughter loves her so much and has so much fun with her!

I have a Brittany Spaniel, a Collie, and a Husky. Definitely get a Brittany! Not a cocker, they get aggressive. Britts are gentle, smart, obedient, and love so deeply.
