I was just slapping my bfs butt lmao he was laying down in bed he was awake on his phone or whatever.. like this just happened rn and then I slapped his butt twice he never says anything but today he said " do it again and I'm going to kick you in your fucking stomach!"... a couple of days ago we had an argument I'm the type of person who likes to talk things out but he lashed out instead and started throwing things and yelling and scared the shit out of me, then he called me dumb because it was my fault he started yelling apparently. We recently got engaged last Sunday so it's kinda fresh idk I'm so confused here I know not all relationships are perfect so I didn't want to make it a big deal out of it it was just normal you know?

his yelling at you is a form of abuse but one instance does not make in and of itself an abusive relationship. abusive relationships are when the abuse happens repeatedly. that doesnt mean that what he did was okay and you guys need to talk. if he cant talk it out, then you should consider ending it bc if you guys cant resolve your problems, they can get worse and your relationship can become toxic. if he wont try to fix his issues, he is not someone you want to be in a relationship with

This situation does hint at possible mental abuse considering he becomes very mad and lashes out easily. The threats could also hint at physical abuse in the future. I would suggest going to couple therapy if you've been together for a while and he just started to act like this. 
If it were me I would leave him because he should act like a mature adult and talk things out rather than threatening you. I hope that you can get things figured out or get out of that situation. 💕

Sometimes we'll play around or whatever but I honestly have noticed him kinda aggressive towards me... ever since we got back together he's been more touchy with me like he'll push me or accidentally bruise me here and there. He does not punch me or k.o. Me either which is why I always asked myself if it was considered abusive or just normal.

I guess you probably shouldn’t have done that but his reaction was definitely over the top. Maybe it’s not abusive now but it might be later. Talk to him about it first.
