Do I have the right to be mad at him

Okay tell me if I have the right to be mad right now. Me and Sean my boyfriend made plans Friday to watch a movie tonight but an hour ago he says he’s going to be with friends so I reminded him of the movie but then he says I already lost one friend( a friend died last Thursday) I don’t wAnt to loose more because I won’t hang out with them and then he says I haven’t been to hang out with anyone all week which is a complete lie because he went out Thursday
