Work or stay home?
So, I work at Target, been there for about a month already, and I'm 26 weeks pregnant. I'm starting to get to the point where it's a lot on my body. They have me on my feet my whole shift, which is literally only 4 hours, sometimes 8 hours. But typically I work 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. My fiancé works full time and we have an extremely supportive family, my mom suggested I stay home until the baby is born, I'm literally only working right now for some extra wiggle room for me and the hubby and baby, while I wait for my phlebotomy license to come in the mail (won't be for another 3 months or so).
My whole shift is on my feet constant, bending over, picking things up, lifting things (not super heavy but not light), lifting boxes up to 10 lbs, they won't let me lift anything 15 lbs or more. They know I'm pregnant and they work with me, i do my absolute best but I'm starting to slow down, and the work load they give me is a lot most of the time. Especially because we're remodeling right now and the holidays are coming up, the store is absolutely crazy. I like being able to have cash and not ask for anything from anyone but I'm wondering if it's a good idea to start staying home and enjoying my pregnancy and go back to working after he's born?
