Best advice before baby's arrival?

In exactly six weeks I will be on my way to get induced and deliver my baby boy! I'm a first time mother and need some advice. I feel SO unprepared! What's the best advice you ever got? What do I need to know and prepare for over the next six weeks?

Rest and sleep as much as you can before your baby is born. The first 2 weeks is intense getting used to having a newborn. They feed every 2-3 hours so you're constantly up all night and sleep is hard to come by. If you're planning to breastfeed be patient with yourself because contrary to popular belief it can be difficult but after the first month or so it gets easier, unless you're one of the lucky ones and it comes easy right away. If someone offers to help, accept it. Prepare freezer crockpot meals in advance, because some days you won't have enough time to cook a meal and those you can just throw in the pot in the AM and you'll have a nutritious dinner. Don't forget to take a shower lol sounds funny but I remember I would be so exhausted I would skip showering some days and whenever I did shower it instantly lifted my mood and made me feel like a new woman.

You will never feel 100% prepared no matter what you do if you’re anything like me! Lol I’m a FTM and had my baby 6 weeks ago. I kept thinking that I only had one or two more things to do to be prepped and ready, but my list always grew. Lol Just do the best you can and that will be enough! It will fly by for you!

Don't forget to take care of yourself. Remember to eat, take a shower, and drink plenty of water.
And when the baby cries so much you can't it, secure baby and step to another room to cool down.
