How did dr treat next pregnancy after ur loss??

After losing a baby due to still birth or a birth defect did the drs give you more ultrasound s an more tests on your next pregnancy were you considered high risk after???

My Drs plan on ultrasounds two times a week every single week starting at 12 weeks next pregnancy. They also will induce or do a c section by 37 weeks, no later. If baby has a short cord or any cord issues we will be hospitalized until birth.

My second son passed away 9/5/17 at 31 weeks 4days. He had a short cord. My first son also had a short cord, he is 5 years old now and perfectly healthy!

We are going to ttc asap!

We monitored hcg levels right away. Unfortunately, MY second pregnancy also ended with miscarriage. We are planning progesterone supplementation with next positive test and more frequent US to monitor. It will not likely treat or prevent anything espeically early but to provide reassurance or early warning that something is not right.

Yes as far as I’m aware, you get more appointments and scans, checking things more like measurements. My mum went through a still birth before my sister and she said they look after you in general better.
