For anyone that had your membranes stripped did it work?

Comments on how dialated you were before the strip and how long it took for contractions?

I was a "tight 2" cm when I had them stripped at 3PM. Was crampy on and off all afternoon. They started fading in the evening so I got disappointed until about 8PM when they got stronger. Knew I was in labor at 10PM, he was born 8PM the next day.

i was already having early labor contractions for about 6 hours on my due date, had an appt that day, and they checked i was almost 2cm and they stripped there in the office. i went hime to rest and walk and so on since they pretty much said full on labor would probably happen on its own within 24 hrs, well my water broke about 4 hours after i left the doc office... so for me, it worked!

I was 1 cm the first time, didn’t work. Was 2cm the second time and I was in active labor in 48 hrs.
