Hey everyone, I've had my 4 year old son constantly hitting other children his age. I thought it was because he just switched to a new class with new kids. I've tried talking, taking away toys or having some sort of consequence when he physically hurts people and nothing seems to be working. He can talk to me and tell me exactly what happened, what he should of done instead and he seems to truly understand what he is doing is wrong. I've asked him to just put his hands in his pockets if he feels like hitting.. I'm super discouraged and hate seeing my boy who is usually so sweet act out in this way. Have any of you had the same thing if not similar happen with any of your children? Advice and recommendations are desperately needed. 😔
