Dress Code

I'm sorry. This is gonna be a long one.

Ok so my school is really overly sexist with their dress code. For some reason guys are allowed to do some of the things that girls can't like wearing muscle tanks and shorts and wearing hats. Like what the heck!

I mean like seriously. When you send an already insecure teenage girl home from school because her shorts are too short or her shoulders are exposed, when you tell her that her typical way of dressing is immodest and distracting, you're really just telling her that hiding her body is more important than her education. You're telling her that making sure the boys have a distraction-free learning environment is more important than her own education. You're telling her that perverted men are more entitled to an education than she is, and that just isn't acceptable.

Honestly, though. What is so wrong with our shoulders–boobs are one thing but these are shoulders! Everyone has them. Like, if a flipping shoulder is all it takes to distract you, A) you need to see a doctor for that, B) you're the one with a problem, ya perv!

Like men are NEVER told that their legs, arms, or stomachs are a problem for other people. They are actually seen as human and very rarely seen as something there for your sexual exploits. Like, I am a 14 year old girl. If you're distracted by my body, YOU'RE THE PROBLEM.
