When woman don't take their SO last name its?

After seeing another post about marriage and last names I'm curious about what woman think and why, so feel free to be detailed and explain your choice.

I didn't and would t ever take my husbands last name, not even hyphened.

I think it's a personal decision for everyone and there is no right or wrong answer. I personally didn't change mine, but I see nothing wrong with someone else changing theirs if they so choose. It was important for me to keep my last name, so I did. For some women changing theirs to their husband's is important and that's okay too. To each their own.

It's a very personal choice. My mom was unmarried when my sister & were born, then married/divorced a few times, & had my little brother, so all of our names were different when I was growing up. That always bothered me for some reason. I chose to take my hubby's name as an emblem of unity for our future family. I totally understand why some women choose to keep their own name, or hyphenate...there's really no right or wrong :)

Mine is hyphened. We both have unique last names so I wanted to keep mine also.

I definitely would. I'm old school and feel happy at the thought of belonging to my husband. Also I don't want a different surname to my children

I honestly don't think it matters. I took my husbands last name for various personal reasons. But I don't frown upon women who don't take their husband's last name. Some stick with their maiden names because they've built up their business with that name. That totally makes sense to me. I think it's sweet to take the husband's name and I love having my husband's name 😍.
