Ovulation tests as pregnancy tests??

I've read and watched some things about using a ovulation test as a pregnancy test... does that even work? Is that even accurate ?

if you don't have a pregnancy test and or its early to test it might help you out but it wont detect the hcg hormone just a lh surge but it common to have a lh surge if pregnant. btw i only know this from the dr and internet not personal experience.

I used them to see if I was miscarrying before I got a definite answer from the hospital. when the line started to fade (were very positive for several days first) I got a pregnancy test to be sure and sure enough it was negative. It works in a pinch, and only as an indicator if it's a good idea to try with a pregnancy test or not
