birth control pills ineffective due to throwing up.?

I'm new to bc pills. .started Sunday,  first day of my period...I feel nauseous often (even before the pill...sensitive stomach I guess)  ...this is stupid but I'm not sure so plz entertain me... could the pill be ineffective if I throw up 2 days after starting...
please help

If you're throwing up within about 2 hours of taking it, assume you threw up the pill. The instructions that came with your pills should tell you what to do.

No, as long as you don't throw the actual pull up you will be fine. It's already been absorbed into your system. Your body takes about an hr to digest and absorb what you eat. So as long as you don't throw up right after you take it you will be fine :)
