What does going into labor feel like?

With my first I was induced at 41 weeks.  Daughter still didn't want to come.  Dr. Broke my water.  Didn't feel any contractions at all till I was dilated at 8.

I'm about 5 weeks till due date and I'm just exhausted.

So what's it feel like to be going into labor?

I had my membrane swept on a Friday evening. Had an hour of consistent cramping afterward then nothing. On the Saturday I had some intermittent cramps like a period, but nothing that lasted enough to time. Early Sunday morning around 3am I got up to pee and lost my mucus plug in bed (very lovely) and that’s around the time I started getting cramps again. This time they stayed all day (lasting a few mins and then subsiding). I stayed at home until 6:30 that night and got to the hospital at 8cm. To me, the pain never felt like it intensified so I wouldn’t have guessed I was that far along.

I had a pretty normal day, wasn't really complaining so that was the only out of the ordinary thing 😂 then I went for a nap around 6pm, woke up at 7.32pm with a pretty strong contraction but wasn't convinced. Took me 1 hour to realise that it was it. I don't know how to explain but by the time I got to the hospital at 9pm it felt like I was being ripped apart from the inside. Baby was born at 11.02pm

it was horrible for me with my first hoping this one will be better but I had a lot of pressure and pain and contractions and then my water broke and it was a pop feeling and after that my contractions went through the roof and hurt so bad I cried and I went from 4cm to 9cm then within a few minutes was 10cm and like 3-4 hours after water breaking my daughter was born I'm 6 weeks and 3 days from my due date now and hoping its a lot better for me this time
