I'm currently 33w5d pregnant. I have planned to work until 35 weeks pregnant then go on unpaid maternity leave, then after baby is born spend 6 weeks unpaid leave with her before going back but as of last week hubby got laid off and can't find a decent paying job for nothing. With a baby on the way, rent, car payment, and other bills I don't see it possible for me to have any time off. This was so unexpected for him to get laid off, we had things perfectly budgeted and I had some money saved so we wouldn't struggle while I was out of work but with our rent being sky high and us just relying on what I saved there is no way I can take maternity leave. I have had multiple dizzy spells and if I am on my feet for too long my blood pressure raises. My work sees no problem with it tho, they even want me to come in on my days off since I'm the manager. Sorry for the rant I'm just beyond stressed.
