Y’all read this slowly. Let it sink in. I posted a couple years ago a little after our first anniversary because I was feeling similarly. Please recognize and understand that love is NOT a feeling. Love is NOT a noun. Love is a verb. Grasping for that loving feeling will only keep it away longer. It’s not gone forever, but it’s no longer a constant. AND THAT IS NORMAL. Think of your relationship like a flower. Water it and watch it bloom. :)

Girl me too, we just made it through our first year and I do love him but feelings aren’t right and he seems different too. He doesn’t like to go out anymore and is disrespecting my family a lot. I’m hoping it’s just because of how we r on a budget and still adjusting to life at home with a child. We have talked about it and said we will work on it but he’s already said “how are we gonna make it like this” which definitely was kinda a hit to me. I myself am giving it a chance until both of us are making money but until then I just say keep working on it and if you really don’t see it working out no matter how hard to try then talk seriously about it to him. It’s just all about communication!

I feel the same way. I feel like the honeymoon was perfect. No stress no drama just me and him. Once we got back home it was back to work, bills, car issues, he is in school for his masters and had a second job and I honestly was feeling neglected. Just sit down and let him know how you are feeling prior to any arguments so it doesn’t look like you are just complaining. I hope this is just a phase.

I am right there with you ladies.. we have been married 7 months... but I'm second guessing it partly because I feel like a man should be a man.. I'm the bread winner and he has had 3  jobs sense we have been together nothing more then part time and half his check goes to child support... so he brings hone 60 a week if that.. we fight all the time .. and it makes it hard at times I can't express myself to him at all without him getting upset.. all he wants to do is play video games.. and recently started smoking pot again... which I wouldn't have a problem with... if he had a good job.. he don't want to go back to school or nothing .. I'm physically and mentally  over it ...
