Insomnia: and my husband has jet engine nostrils

Taniesha
So pregnancy has given me insomnia, due to  having to pee, dreams, heartburn, and just plain being uncomfortable. It would be no big deal if I could just fall asleep, but my husband has asthma and sleep apnea and snores sooooooo loud... So I end up on the couch most nights just to sleep the rest of the night. He has just slept out there a couple times so he doesn't wake me up and make me leave the bed. I've thought about ear plugs, but I have a four year old who sleeps upstairs and I don't want to not be able to hear her if she needs me. My husband sometimes gets mad at me and doesn't understand how hard it is when you can't fall back asleep. I feel bad cause he can't help it... Any advice? We are hopefully gonna do a sleep study so he can get a sleep apnea machine through our insurance.. But is it bad we end up out of bed together ?
