Anyone ever test positive on Genetic Testing???

I'm 13 weeks and my doctor did Genetic testing and I tested positive for Cystic Fibrosis meaning I'm a Carrier. So Daddy is going to be tested now. But we already have one child and she was fine. I hate this genetic testing its so stressful now. Are there other moms out there having this test done too??

Yea i tested positive for being a carrier of haemophilia (a genetic blood disorder) and chose to have cvs testing done. Got a positive result for bub too. I had this done at 12 weeks. I was given the option for termination but I just couldn't do it! I'm now 14 +1 weeks. Plus side though, I got to find out the sex at 12 weeks! Having a baby boy. Praying that he's healthy otherwise!

My cousin died of cf & both my brothers are double carriers- they have the r508d gene & r117- basically they have cf on paper but are asymptomatic.
I have my meeting with genetic counsellor on Monday & blood tests 😁

My husband is a carrier but I'm not. It's likely your partner isn't either. Just try to relax till you know what's going on
