Clomid round 2

So I've been trying for about a year and after no luck my Dr wanted to run a bunch of test to see what was my issue. He decided to put me on metformin (PCOS) for a few months and checked my tubes with an HSG scan. Everything looked great. Then he wanted to try me on clomid last month. Well, got hit with Hurricane Harvey and couldn't go check my progesterone levels. Needless to say, round 1 was a fail. Started round 2 on sept 7th. Ovulated on sept 19, checked my progesterone on sept 25. Came back an 8.2 and dr said that was good and I ovulated. I currently am expecting AF oct 4... never late. Always a solid 29 day cycle. I am nauseous as all get out. Super fatigued. Couldn't keep food down at work. Decided to test even though I'm 5 days away from AF and NEGATIVE. Now i have that pressure where YOU KNOW AF is about to make her appearance ☹️ I am sooo discouraged. I just want to give up. Any tips? I read on here someone used mucinex and pre seed on their clomid cycle?! Any luck there? I just don't know what to do: my hubby is so supportive but I just wanna cry. I lost twins a couple years back and we really want our rainbow baby. 😭😢
