I have had my iud for 2 years and for the first time I've been bleeding for about 20 days. what's wrong with me?

I’ve had my Mirena for 5 months(ish?) now and let me tell you the first 3 periods were a fricken doozy. Like, 18 day long periods with 12-14 days in between them. I’ve read where women get super long periods and then no period or no period then a long period out of the blue. I guess it all depends on your body. I would call your doctor just to make sure they don’t want you to come in so they can check to see if maybe your IUD shifted a bit.
