Sick of hearing the same thing!!

It's been 18 weeks post d&c; and no period since, sick of hearing doctors say "aww your period will come", "don't worry about it", " it take a while for a period to return after a d&c;", wait until your hormones regulate". I'm sorry but none of this makes me feel at ease it makes me more concerned the longer I go without a period especially with the intense period pain each month like clockwork. Don't know if I'm even ovulating or if I can still get pregnant.
