Poor decision making skills!?

So I've noticed a lot of woman posting topics about smoking marijuana & tobacco, drinking alcohol, riding motorcycles while pregnant, or asking if adoption is the wright choice when they're in their late 20s to mid 30s. Am I the only one who thinks this is beyond ridiculous!? Like I don't mean to come off as mommy shamer... but damn! Makes me so crazy that an innocent baby is going to rely on the care of this person! I just don't get it!? By no means do I feel I am the perfect mother and eat all organic foods blah blah... I just think decisions like this are common sense and if you can't make the right one... What are you going to do when your child needs you to make a crucial decision for him/her!? 😤😓😰🙌

I agree with you except why can't someone in their late 20s early 30s choose adoption? It isn't just for teens. Say a woman got pregnant by rape but didn't want to abort. Or her boyfriend left her then lost her job. There are a ton of different reasons people of any age can choose adoption. At least they are smart enough to realize they can't give the child what they deserve.

I've been riding on the back of my hubbies bike off and on this wholepregnancy, my on said its fine. The only risk I'm taking is the same one I take everytime we head off on the bike, that an accident could be serious and end everything...yes it's a bit different with my baby involved but I trust my Dh and God

For better or for worse, it's not hard to reproduce. Ultimately you just have to let it go, can't fix people who don't want it.
