My husbands mother lives in Puerto Rico and lost everything in the hurricane. Her house is under water and she was already struggling before the storm. Despite being 8 months pregnant, my husband and I have decided to take her in and move her into our spare bedroom starting next week. She is a sweet woman, and we get along great so I don’t have any apprehension to having her move in. It’s just that money has been really tight, we are barely squeezing by as it is and having my mother in law and a new baby moving in at the same time has been making me super stressed out.

Well that’s where my parents come in.

Today they called me and told me they wanted to send me $1,000 dollars to help with moving my mother in law in. We never asked nor hinted that we needed help. They just felt it was something they wanted to do. My husband and I are floored. This makes everything so much easier. I am so incredibly grateful. I feel like everything is going to be ok now. This puts us ahead financially enough to be able to save some money and get where we need to be for when baby boy is born.

I just wanted to share my good news. Sometimes amazing things happen when you least expect it.
