Ladies, when did you start lactating?

I am 29 weeks and I have noticed when I wake up my shirt were my nipples are is all crusty same with my nipple rings I also have noticed this crust like substance in my nipple I just cleaned it and there was white stuff leaking out it kind of freaked me out..... I am a first time mom not due until December.

With my 1st, the day she was born. With my 2nd, about a week before he was born.

after a while my nipples rings started to get irritated from the milk and started to get infected so i had to take them out , so just be careful!

Just colostrum. Your milk does not come in until 2-4 days after you give birth. This is totally normal
