I fought so you can kneel, you are not disrepecting me!

Why are there so many civilians- who never thought about enlisting, who would cry if they were ever drafted- that think that it is disrespectful to our flag, to our soldiers and vets, that some NFL players are kneeling the anthem in protest, which they have every right to do, to bring to light issues that a large number of people are dealing with? I swore to support and defend the CONSTITUTION! Not to a flag. If I had to make a slit second decision to save a flag or a human being, guess which one would live to breathe another day? Don't get me wrong when I do see the flag I have great pride because it represents a place where you have great freedoms as long as you don't infringe on the rights of others.....who are these NFL player hurting? Better question, who's right are really being infringed upon? Just because the protest makes you uncomfortable or frankly because you don't give a damn doesn't mean they have less rights them you. All in all, I'm glad how peacefully and tastefully this was done. And Always remember and never forget: THIS COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED ON PROTEST. So if it was ok for our founding fathers......
