EXCITED!!!

Courtney🤘🏻 • I just want to cuddle my boyfriend and pet my cat. 👫🐱

So I’m only 20, and I’ve already been told it’s going to be hard for me to get pregnant due to other health issues.(I don’t wanna talk about them)

But today, my big sister who is my best friend and hero, asked me to go to her ultra sound with her, and asked me to be the god mother of her baby!

I am beyond excited for my sister.

Her and her husband have been trying since they got married in June of 2016.

My sister had cancer as a little kid, and the doctors told her they don’t know how it will affect her having a baby, but she is 18 weeks this week(I think).

I am so excited.

Now here’s my question:

Someone told me I have no right to be excited cause I’m only the aunt not a parent. But once the baby is born,I am taking some time off work to help my sister with the baby, as my brother-in-law won’t be able to take much time off.

Do I have a right to be excited? Or am I over stepping boundaries with being happy?
