They DO Listen

Yesterday my husband and I were sitting around watching TV when a something Was mentioned about carrot cake, my favorite kind of cake. Just in general conversation I said, "Man, carrot cake would be good right now." Later that night my husband had to ride to the grocery store to grab some chicken for dinner. When he came back we started cooking dinner. A little after that he snuck back in the kitchen without me knowing and proceeded to make some racket. When I asked what was going on he just mumbled something and I assumed he was just cleaning up a little. About an hour later he comes back and grabs my hand and takes me to the kitchen where I see a homemade carrot cake sitting on the counter! My husband not only remembered me mentioning carrot cake that morning, but bought it, snuck it in the house and then baked it on his own! He's never baked a cake before! I I really did marry the most amazing man in the world!!
