Induction in progress
I checked in to L&D; at 6am today... by 730 I was started on a "mechanical induction" in which they put a balloon catheter in my uterus and then put a medication on my cervix to have it thin out as I was only 2cm and 0% effaced on admission this morning.
its been 4 hours now and I am definitely having more frequent contractions.. 4-5 minutes apart. They are monitoring my contractions now to see if they get more frequent or stay the same.
I will update when I can!
I forgot to mention I am 41+4 (11 days late!)
