Jealous Boyfriend

So I've been with my boyfriend for over a year and a half now and I love him so much and want to spend the rest of my life with him. I'm 16 and he is 17. We are really mature for our age. The thing is he is very jealous and protective of me, he gets very uncomfortable if I see my friends (since they drink and do drugs, whereas I never have and I never want to) and always jokingly brings up that I could cheat on him (which obviously I wouldn't because I'm not that type of person) he is graduating this year and going to England to go to university next September. He says he wants to stay with me and is committed to our relationship. Do I talk through the jealousy problems with him because I'm getting quite sick of it and it's becoming draining. I think if we talk we could work things out and pursue our relationship. Any advice?
