Manipulated by parents?

So I'm curious. I am 21 years old and my boyfriend is 28 now. We've been together for about 3 years. I am 38 weeks pregnant and so excited to meet him ❤️❤️ My parents are not happy about me having a child whatsoever, no support emotionally, nothing. They want me to put our child up for adoption (we both want our child equally. Father has been so excited it's his first child). My parents have decided that if I don't put this child up for adoption (not just give him to the father) that I will not be a part of their life anymore. If I decide to keep my child (which to me isn't even a question) that I can be without my parents support and I can live a "welfare" life. 
I'm just curious how they think that's even possible? I seriously need some support because I feel so alone. My boyfriend thinks I'm actually considering that and even wants me to just give him all the rights to our child. I feel like no matter what I'm being pushed out of my own child's life before he's even born. 💔

If I'm understanding you correctly, it sounds like you don't have the financial means to raise a child & your parents are refusing to financially support you & your baby - - which is totally reasonable imo. You're 21: unless you're in college full-time & your parents offered to pay your way, you shouldn't be dependent on them anyway! Being enough of an adult to keep a baby means being enough of an adult to support yourself & your baby. If that can't be done even with your boyfriend on board, I don't blame them for pushing adoption, as it seems like the baby would be better provided for.

My parents were the same when my sister got pregnant at 21 but after the baby was here that all changed. Give it time and also tell your Bf that you need his support right now not his added stress.

Why do your boyfriend think you are considering giving the baby up?, if you said that's not an option. Your parents should not force you to give the baby up or withhold emotional support but your parents are not obligated to provide financial support to you or the baby. You've been in a 3 yr relationship with this older gentleman who should be stable enough to give you the support that you and your child need. Hopefully your parents will come around after the baby is born. Not trying to be harsh but you and your boyfriend have been acting grown for 3yrs so it's time to grow up. Your parents didn't make this baby so their life shouldn't get turned upside down because of it. After baby is a couple of months....get a job if you do not have one. Maybe you can get a shift opposite  of the baby's dad so he can watch baby to save on daycare cost. Well wishes, be blessed.

I had my daughter at 18.. my dad was not very happy.. and thought I should make other decisions instead of keeping the baby. Once the baby was born everything changed. I feel your parents will regret it if they stick to their word. Do what's best for you and your boyfriend. I hope your parents change their mind.
