Period came early?

Hi guys!!! So i’ve had the Jaydess IUD for a year now, and i only had spotting within the first few weeks of getting it put in. I’ve been sexually active alot recently without any condoms (not sure if that’s relevant) but my last period ended 12 days ago, and I’m on my period again. I thought it was just spotting at first but it’s very heavy and has been going on for three days now. I’ve also been having terrible back pain, although back pain is normal for me it’s gotten worse lately. Should I be worried? I plan on going to the doctor’s tomorrow to ask about this as well.
