ttc with sleeping pills?

i take anti depressants and sleeping pills should i stop taking them while ttc

I wouldn’t stop taking any medication prescribed by a doctor without the doctors okay to do so. Depression is a serious condition.

Id see if ur doctor could put u on something safe while trying for a baby. My uncles ex wife was on anti depressants when pregnant and caused my cousin to be born with half a heart and leaky valves. she needs a heart transplant before she out grows it... I wouldnt chance it

I’d say def stop taking the sleeping pills but talk to your Dr about your depression meds, sometimes they will need to change you over to a pregnancy safe type.

I went to my gyno doctor and she had me stop taking them. She never told me how to stop taking them or anything, so I stopped completely taking them and ended up sicker than crap. If you decide to go off them wing yourself off rather then just quitting.
