Your choice is to keep the 1st or second amendments of the USA constitution in its entirety and current meaning. Which do you choose to KEEP? 
    
1st: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
    
2nd: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

We've already done away with the second amendment as the founding fathers intended it. It refers to the legality of the formation of militia. Most constitutional scholars agree it really has little to do with owning guns. Because of the formation of the standing army, the need for a people's militia has gone. 🤷‍♀️

Keep the first, guns should be banned outright. Why the fuck would anyone need 20 assault rifles? How the fuck is THAT a right when the healthcare and emergency services the 500 people that were attacked need is a privilege?

Anyone who thinks they could overthrow the weapons the government has with guns is delusional 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t think we should give up guns completely, but we 100% need to have stricter laws and regulations. Required safety courses, background check, psych evaluation, etc. We need to limit what guns are available to own by the general public. We need unarmed police force for general runs (traffic stops, domestic violence situations, etc) and leave the armed police for situations that actually need them (drug busts, hostage situations, situations where the suspect is armed and dangerous). We need to decide enough lives have been lost.
