Has anyone been induced?? I'm so scared

I was induced with my daughter and it was wonderful! Walked in, got started, I labored for just about 12 hours, got an epidural halfway through, slept for 3-4 hours and then woke up to push. I pushed for 10 minutes and she was here! All 9lbs 12oz of her! I had a great experience and I’m looking forward to doing it again this time!

I'm going on my 3rd induction and would prefer it actually. You walk in and it's all set up they go over step by step and you know your not leaving til you have your baby.

Induction is hard when you don't receive any pain meds or an epidural because contractions on pitocin are way more intense than natural ones.

I was induced with my first, super fast labor. 6 hours. He came so quickly the nurses and dr always assume it will be so long with your first, so no one ever checked on me until my body was involuntarily pushing him out ! 
With my daughter I had my membrane stripped and then went into labor that night, I got pitocin when they gave me my epidural so things didn't slow down. Had a beautiful experience. 
Looks like my 3rd will be induced next Thursday unless she decides to stop being stubborn within 6 days hahaha

Every woman labors differently. I was induced and from the start of my induction it took 42 hours to deliver my son. Hopefully you're somewhat dilated or effaced before induction. I wasn't really either of them and it took forever to get to that point. Also expect contractions to be worse on pitocin. My birthplan didn't include meds or an epidural but pitocin changed that. Hopefully you have an easier induction like some of these ladies that go in and delivery in a few hours! I plan to go into labor naturally this time

I've been induced twice, both went well. Once without epidural and once with an epidural. Obviously I prefered the epidural, but I survived the pitocin contractions without as well. Both deliveries went smoothly without issue!

I’m being induced  tomorrow and have been wondering about this. My first pregnancy happened so fast cuz I was on bed rest and already super dilated and effaced. I got to the hospital and was crowning so no time for pain meds. Water had broken at 6:05 and he was out by 8:12. This time around, I’m being induced with my daughter. I’m currently 3cm dilated and 85% effaced. Hoping to not need an epidural but afraid of the dreaded “pitocin contractions”

I was induced with my last and it was the fastest by far! I got pit at 11am and she was born at 1:10pm with out any pain med. My first two took 23 and 19 hours and had an epidural. I think not getting the epidural right away helped speed things up. I was so nice being able to walk and use the bathroom on my own right after delivery 😊
