UTIs after sex

Does anyone else constantly get UTIs after having sex with their SO? I pee after because if I pee before I don't have enough for after which my gynecologist said if I have to pick one to just pee after. I'm just very frustrated because I'm in such pain all the time after we have this amazing time due to these infections. and its to the point where my bf feels bad and doesn't always want to have sex because he doesn't want me to go through the pain 😭😭😭 any suggestions anyone?? going to the urologist tomorrow to see what I can do for this issue. UPDATE: currently waiting to see urologist to see what he can do for me
