Help! Cramps, Braxton Hicks, I don't know.

So I've been having cramps. What I think is braxton hicks. I'll be walking and get a horrible cramp in the front of my stomach that lasts up to a minute or when I'm in bed I'll get them too. I always keep having small gushes of watery discharge throughout this past week along with the cramps. I called my doctor and he told me it's round ligament pain and to come in next Wednesday cause of the discharge. I know what round ligament pain feels like and this doesn't feel like that. It's completely different.. I just don't know what to do now. I'm 23 weeks pregnant and worried about this.
