I know a chemical pregnancy happens early along but it is STILL a miscarriage and STILL a major loss and heartbreak. I'm tired of people acting like they're different. You're still LOSING A CHILD. Does no one seem to understand that?! I've had two "chemical pregnancies" and I have always said miscarriages because that's literally what it is! I still feel great loss for those two children. So next time someone wants to say I didn't actually have a miscarriage because it was a chemical pregnancy you need to look up the definition and stop acting like your loss is greater than mine. Now if you miscarry really late in the pregnancy, I do agree your loss IS MUCH greater. I do agree with that. That would be absolutely heartbreaking. But telling someone that the chemical pregnancies they had weren't miscarriages just because you want to compare our loss is fucked up.
