eczema or allergic reaction? Help!!!

My baby girl is 3 moonths and she has had this rash on her belly for about 2 week just over the past 2 days it has gotten worse. it seens every time we try a new cream, it gets worse. I have an apt. in 2 days with her doc but can anybody give me any advice. She rly doesn't seemed bothered by it unless her shirt is off then she tries to rub it.

I took my son to his doctor because he had patches on his stomach and horrible red areas under his elbows, neck folds, and knee, he has baby eczema. I bath him in baby dove and use baby aveeno. He is so much happier now :)

Try putting breast milk on it. I use breast milk for every rash.

oh poor baby, she's such a beauty. I'm a FTM so I'm not really sure what it could be. My Dr. gave my daughter a hydrocortisone cream then suggested baby Aveeno or Eucerin. She had a slight rash then the dry patches of skin. It went away but I still use the baby Eucerin. He ruled out an allergy for us because he said it would be all over her body if it was a reaction to a food I ate that was passed through her milk or an allergy to her clothes detergent. He said sometimes babies body's just adjust from hormones too so that causes the dry patches. I just bathed her to help soothe it then applied the creams and it went away. If she isn't fussy then that is a good sign but don't be hard on yourself. I'm sure it is nothing you did. If she starts to breathe funny then take her to the ER, or if you feel you should, take her in sooner. Follow your Mommy instincts and keep us updated!!!

What kind of soap did you use when it started to happen my daughter had allergic reaction to dove the rich kind she can’t have nothing with perfumes in it not even pampers the doctor gave her cetaphil & I also use aveeno the eczema kind & she’s much better now!
